Children's Art Contest
Contest
This year we will be having contest periodically for young children. Our fourth contest theme is spring flowers. Children ages 3-12 Children may design their sea scape using any of the following mediums: watercolors, acrylics, wood, paper, or mosaics. The sea scape art can be a picture, or piece of sculpture The children's work will hang in our gallery starting on the June 15th. On June 19th we will annouce the winners. There will be two divisions the 3-6 years and the 7-12 year olds. Each division winner will receive a free art class of their choice.
The judging will be done a group of six judges:
- preschool teacher
- art teacher
- graphic artist
- graduate student
- parent
- local artist
We will display the winning pictures in our front window over the weekend. Pictures may be picked up on Saturday June 27th.
